Welcome to the official website of the Township of Maidstone, Vermont. Maidstone is located in Essex County, one of the 3 counties that make up the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We are bordered on the east side by New Hampshire and the Connecticut River & Valley, containing within it's oxbows an abundance of fertile bottom lands for farming, and well known for it's great fishing, canoeing & kayaking. Also within the Town is the well known Maidstone Lake with it's adjoining Maidstone State Park, remotely nestled among the towns many forests, hills, mountains and streams.
