Shoreland Protection Act - Information Sessions

posted May 29, 2015, 5:44 AM by Bruce Richardson

Regional partners, lake associations, and others,

For those of you who don’t know me, my name is Dan Homeier and I work with Kevin Burke and Misha Cetner (see attached contact information) on administering the Shoreland Protection Act.

I’ve just finalized my outreach schedule for the summer and was hoping you could share it with your respective contacts lists, associations, neighbors, contractors, etc. All information sessions are open to the public at no charge and will run approximately an hour. For each session I’ll review the Shoreland Protection Act regulations that now apply to development within 250 feet of lakes and ponds and the Lake Encroachment regulations that apply to development within lakes (docks, boat houses, etc.).

I’ve also added our outreach dates to our webpage. We encourage folks to check the page often, as we update it frequently as new events come up:

Thanks and let me know if you have any questions! Have a great memorial day weekend!

Dan
