Draft SELECTBOARD MEETING

February 6, 2017

CTO: 7:02 P.M.

ATTENDANCE: Bradley McVetty, Kyle Bouthillier, Linwood Mixer, Susan Irwin and on speaker phone Douglas Lord.

APPROVE MINUTES: Bradley moved to accept the minutes of the January 5th Selectboard meeting that was reconvened on January 23 as written.  Kyle seconded the motion and the motion carried.

HEATHER ROBINSON ESSEX COUNTY NATURAL RESOURCES: Because of illness, Heather and Bradley were unable to meet as planned. She has started the paperwork on categories A and B grant requests.

AMBULANCE SERVICE CONTRACT GROVETON: The contract fee remains the same but the Medicare Billing Rates have gone up.

HALL ROAD: The Clerk will contact Attorney Wilson and ask her to send another letter to Mr. Buyak with a description of his new violations and ask that he fix them before we serve him with papers.

NORTHEAST KINGDOM WASTE MANAGEMENT DISTRICT1. Kyle moved to order the minimum number of cases of trash bags. Bradley seconded the motion and the motion carried. 2. We are still waiting to hear from NEKWMD whether it is feasible to set up another Bulky Waste Day later in September.

SIGN SELECTMEN’S WARRANTS: These were reviewed and signed.

OTHER BUSINESS: 1. School Public Hearing and Informational Meeting on Act 46 will be held on February 25th at 1:30 p.m. at the Maidstone Town Hall. 2. The plans that were made by Tim Ruggles regarding the bridge on North Road were reviewed by the Board Members to see if any changes needed to be made. Kyle and Brad reviewed them and made no changes. Mr. Ruggles will take of the permitting process and whatever else needs to be done. The plans will be sent to the state and if approved by them then returned to the town for final approval. Mr. Ruggles wants the Board to provide a list of contractors.

ADJOUNRMENT: Kyle moved to adjourn at 7:56 p.m. Bradley seconded the motion and the motion carried.
