Draft Planning & Zoning Board Minutes

November 14, 2017

CTO: 7:00 PM

ATTENDANCE: Bruce Hobaugh, Bonnie Lovell, Bob Lancraft, Lloyd Tippitt, Brad McVetty and Neil Devlin.

MINUTES: Bob Lancraft motioned to accept the 09/12/2017 minutes. Bruce Hobaugh seconded the motion and the motion carried.

HOOKER PROPERTY: There is a new trailer at this property but isn’t a zoning issue. The Zoning Board informed Brad McVetty, Road Commissioner of the issue. Brad stated he has no problem with it as the Road Commissioner.

BUYAK PROPERTY: Lloyd gave a letter to the Selectboard of the zoning issues of the 5 or 6 violations. The Zoning Board discussed the garbage containers in the road’s right of way with Brad McVetty as Road Commissioner. Brad stated that he believed that Louis & Nancy Lamoureux owned this part of the property and the Zoning Board should discuss the issue with him. The Selectboard plans to combine the Zoning Board Letter (see attached) with the Selectboard letter. Bonnie will work on the letter and get it approved by the Selectboard at December’s meeting. The State of Vermont is dealing with the septic issue. The Zoning Board requested that the Zoning Administrator follow up with a violation for #306 regarding his old foundation.

ELECT NEW CHAIRMAN: Bob motioned to nominate Sean McCarthy for the 2018 Chairman. Bruce seconded the motion and the motion carried.

REVIEW NEW PERMITS: All permits were reviewed.

OTHER BUSINESS: The Zoning Board requested again that the Zoning Administrator will visit the property that we receive a building permit before, during and after completion.

Bruce motioned that all applications for building at the lake that are less than 25 ft from the lake needs to be approved by the Board and the Zoning Administrator. Bob seconded the motion and the motion carried.

ADJOURNMENT: Bob motioned to adjourn the meeting at 7:51 p.m. Bruce seconded the motion and the motion carried.
