Zoning Board Minutes 03/08/2016

March 8, 2016



The meeting was called to order at 7:01 p.m.  Those in attendance were Bruce Hobaugh, Bob Lancraft, Bonnie Lovell, Brad McVetty.

The Zoning Board has elected to have a new Chairman each year. Bruce Hobaugh nominated Bob Lancraft for the 2016 chairman. Bonnie Lovell 2nd the motion.

The Select Board voted to change the term dates for Zoning Members at the March 7th, 2016 Select Board meeting and the following was elected: 

         Bob Lancraft                            2017

                    Sean McCarthy                         2018

                    Bruce Hobaugh                        2019

                    Bonnie Lovell (Alternate)          2017


There is now a Facebook page for the Town of Maidstone. The Zoning Board minutes and meeting dates will be post on the Facebook page and on the website.

The Zoning Board has requested that Mike Otis, Zoning Administrator send a copy of all permits to the Zoning Board. Bonnie Lovell will make copies of any that have come in since January 1, 2016 to date. They also would like to invite Mike to all Zoning Board meetings.

The Zoning Board requests that all approved permits that are issued by the Zoning Administrator be followed up 30 days after the construction begins and at the completion of the construction. The Zoning Administration is the only person that has the authority to enforce that the permit is being followed.

Bruce Hobaugh motioned to close the meeting at 7:19 P.M. Bob Lancraft 2nd the motion.
