Maidstone is located in Essex County, one of the 3 counties that make up the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont. We are bordered on the east side by New Hampshire and the Connecticut River , containing within its oxbows an abundance of fertile bottom lands for farming, and well known for its great fishing, canoeing, and kayaking. Also within the Town is the well known Maidstone Lake with its adjoining Maidstone State Park, remotely nestled among the Town's forests, hills, mountains, and streams.
